PUNE: Aadhaar cards will be mandatory for people availing of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme, PMRDA officials have said.
The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has lined up nearly 30,000 beneficiaries for 15 public private partnership (PPP)-model schemes in areas under its jurisdiction.
With a detailed project report (DPR) being readied for the projects, the PMRDA officials said they have made Aadhaar cards compulsory for the beneficiaries who have not enrolled for the scheme elsewh ere in the country.
